Thanks to the support received from Keesal, Young and Logan and several of its technology partners, the Arts Council for Long Beach launched a new and improved Artist Registry. The registry (database), originally developed as a project of the Leadership Long Beach Class of 2009, is a free online resource designed as a comprehensive and inclusive list of artists and arts organizations serving Long Beach, California.

John Glaza, Executive Director of the Arts Council said, “The Registry supports professional and emerging artists who live, work or exhibit in Long Beach”. It’s easy to sign-up to create a professional profile that will be available to anyone who is looking to connect with the impressive talent pool we have in Long Beach.”

The updated Artist Registry includes:

  • More searchable features
  • Rotates key artists
  • Easy export of artist emails to be used in electronic communications
  • Easier to share and save artist profiles
  • Each artist’s registry profile can have their own URL that they can share around on different social media platforms. This enhances their experience as well as promotes the registry.

The registry improves visibility for Long Beach’s impressive talent pool and offers a vehicle for local exposure and networking. The Artist Registry can be accesses at http://www.artslb.org/artist-registry.
