The Long Beach Central Project Area Council Host Monthly Meeting Sept. 4

The Long Beach Central Project Area Council, Inc. (LB CPAC) will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6pm on Thursday, September 4, 2014 in the Community Room of the Long Beach Blvd. / Burnett Apartments at 2355 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, 90806.
This is a great opportunity to keep abreast of projects and programs happening in the LB CPAC area. Dialogue involving the community and the topic presenters is encouraged and expected.
There will be a presentation by Kristin Jones representing Verizon Wireless regarding a wireless facility Verizon is proposing to be located at 2301 Long Beach Blvd.
Brian Ulaszewski of City Fabrick will be giving an update on the Westside Livability project.
LB CPAC will also be giving a status update on the City’s Medical Marijuana Ordinance which was the topic of the July monthly meeting.
Everyone in Long Beach is invited to attend. LB CPAC looks forward to seeing a large turnout. In addition to the main topic, there will be opportunities for members of the community to briefly address the group about other concerns and issues.
The Long Beach Central Project Area Council, Inc. (LB CPAC) replaces the Central Project Area Committee for Redevelopment which ceased to exist when the Redevelopment Agencies were eliminated by Governor Brown in 2012.
All are welcome to attend the meetings and the group is actively recruiting new members. There are individual, business and community group categories of membership.
