The Long Beach Central Project Area Council, Inc. (LB CPAC) will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 6pm at the Bixby Café at 3900 Atlantic Ave., Long Beach, 90807. Note this location is different from meetings in the past. LB CPAC has begun having the meetings in local businesses where attendees can buy what they’d like to have as refreshment.
Long Beach City Prosecutor, Doug Haubert, will be at Thursday’s meeting to discuss the impact his office has on public safety in the City and how the FY14 budget for the City’s Prosecutor office will affect neighborhoods.
Everyone in Long Beach is invited to attend. LB CPAC looks forward to seeing a large turnout.
The Long Beach Central Project Area Council (LB CPAC) replaces the Central Project Area Committee for Redevelopment which ceased to exist when the Redevelopment Agencies were eliminated by Governor Brown in 2012.
All are welcome to attend the meetings and the group is actively recruiting new members. There are individual, business and community group categories of membership.
