Long Beach Chorale sings Brahms with Jenny Spence, David Stoneman

long beach choraleThe Long Beach Chorale will perform Brahms: Ein Deutsches Requiem tonight, Saturday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 14 at 4:00 p.m.

Brahms wrote his Requiem as a message of consolation to humans of all faiths and all languages, and its power and beauty are virtually unmatched. The Long Beach Chorale is joined by a full orchestra, soprano Jenny Spence, and baritone David Stoneman.

Founded in 1988, the Long Beach Chorale and Chamber Orchestra is a volunteer choral ensemble with a wide variety of repertoire. Under the direction of Eliza Rubenstein since 2003, the Chorale has continued to expand its repertoire and to garner high praise from audience members and media alike.
