Pine Avenue will be blocked off between 1st Street and Broadway for the second annual Long Beach Gospel Fest and Downtown Worship Experience on Sunday, July 11. The glory of Gospel music will be hosted by Councilman Dee Andrews and Antioch Church of Long Beach, Pastor Wayne Chaney Jr.
With more than 20 churches involved, the Long Beach Gospel Fest has established itself as the premiere Gospel concert in the Los Angeles region. The day-long concert features Grammy Award-winning singers and musicians and last years’ music festival attracted more than 3,000 attendees.
“I am very excited to be a part of the Gospel Fest knowing as well as local choirs and performers that it will bring so many of the Long Beach residents together. This will be one of the country’s most unique environments to experience gospel music and brunch with beautiful city views, ocean breezes, and delectable dining,” said Councilman Dee Andrews.
