Long Beach Heritage Hosts a Victorian Christmas at the Historic Bembridge House

Rediscover the magic of an old-tyme Christmas. Experience a family-friendly celebration focused on holiday traditions in this lovingly decorated historic house. Enjoy crafts for children in the Carriage House, a garden boutique and refreshments. Meet Santa Claus. Hear the South Coast Chorale singers sing your favorite Christmas carols. Tour the1906 Queen Ann Victorian home preserved with its original woodwork, fixtures and many furnishings.

For the eleventh year, volunteers from Long Beach ‘s Historic Neighborhood Associations, Community Groups and Long Beach Heritage have gathered to decorate the interior and exterior of the historic home with this year’s theme – Santa Then and Now.

The Victorian Christmas at the Historic Bembridge House is Sunday, December 7, 2014; 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. The Bembridge House is located at 953 Park Circle, Long Beach, California, 90813.

Reservations are $ 10.00. Children 10 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased through PayPal at www.lbheritage.org or by mail to Long Beach Heritage, P.O. Box 92521, Long Beach, California 90809. Tickets will be held and distributed at the door.

Additional home tours will be given Tuesday afternoons on December 9th, 16th and 23rd as well as Saturdays December 13th, 20th and January 3rd. at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.. A limited number of special tours for groups of eight or more may be arranged on other dates with one week’s notice. Suggested donation is $ 10.00/person.
