Twenty-five SIATech High School students in Long Beach looked forward all week to Friday the 13th with excitement. Friday is the day they would proudly walk across the stage to finally receive their diplomas.

SIATech, a charter school that partners with Long Beach Job Corps Center and is located locally on the campus, conducted a commencement ceremony for students. Family members, community members and current Job Corps students were on hand to recognize these students’ achievements.

Mr. Ron Stagg, Principal of SIATech led the procession of graduates. He is frequently heard encouraging and advising the students to “make every day, every hour, every minute and every second count.”

Ms. Mitra Vazeen, Center Director of Long Beach Job Corps stated that “every graduate contributes to the betterment of the center, of the local community and our society and we salute our teachers and students for making graduations happen at the Long Beach Job Corps Center.”
