Long Beach Playhouse Invites Community to Pay-What-You-Can Night on Thursday

The Mainstage Season continues as Long Beach Playhouse presents the beloved Neil Simon comedy Barefoot in the Park. Barefoot in the Park opens January 14th with a Pay-What-You-Can Night on Jan 12th and a half-price preview show on Jan 13th.
Directed by Denis McCourt, this light-hearted romance between a straight-laced lawyer and an impetuous free spirit begins where most romantic comedies end, bringing reality and humor to the life that happens after two people fall in love and get married.
Opening Night Champagne Reception with the entire cast on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Barefoot in the Parkwill continue on Thursday nights (8 p.m.), Friday nights (8 p.m.), Saturday nights (8 p.m.) and Sunday matinees, (2 p.m.) through Saturday, February 11th.

Long Beach Playhouse is located at 5021 E. Anaheim St., Long Beach, CA, 90804, right across from the Long Beach Recreation golf course. The Playhouse is community-supported theatre that cuts across age, gender, ethnic, and cultural boundaries. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday.
