Recycle Used Tires

Tires pose a threat to the environment if disposed of in landfills. Long Beach residents are invited to dispose of old tires in an environmentally friendly manner on Saturday, July 11, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Environmental Services Bureau, 2929 E. Willow St. (Just east of Temple Ave.)

No rims, and only five tires or less per car will be accepted. Please no hazardous waste.

Help keep our alleys and streets clean by recycling used tires, which can be made into rubberized asphalt, drain pipes, rubber hoses, rubber mats and playground mats.
