Long Beach Rescue Mission hosts the 33rd annual Long Beach Leadership Prayer Breakfast on Friday, September 25 at the Renaissance Hotel on Ocean Boulevard. The purpose of the event is to unite community leaders throughout the city of Long Beach to pray together and receive God’s help, encouragement and blessings as they serve to strengthen the community. Last year over 360 business, nonprofit, educational, church, government and community leaders attended.

Two awards will be presented during the program. The Community Leadership Award will be presented to Cathy Taylor for her dedicated work and service offering hope, healing and support to hurting moms and the Emerging Leadership Award will be presented to Allison Nicholas for efforts to reunite children with their incarcerated parent and for her commitment to supporting family values and liberty.

He is a widely sought after speaker and trainer on issues related to family violence. Summer Rona, a dynamic performer, singer and song writer will provide inspirational music.
