free community breakfastOn Saturday, March 27, We Love Long Beach is taking breakfast on the road again. This time the community crusaders will bring free breakfast to the Los Altos neighborhood. The morning team will set up at the Crawford Home, next to the playground at Los Altos Park from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

“The Los Altos area has always been a place of family and community,” said We Love Long Beach organizers. “We invite you to extend that tradition and enjoy free breakfast with your neighbors.”

Along with offering free breakfast (pancakes, sausage, eggs, fruit, vegan delights, orange juice, and coffee) and an opportunity for neighbors to get to know each other in a safe and friendly environment there will also be face painting for kids and a live DJ to set the mood.

Los Altos is a quiet residential neighborhood on the Eastside of Long Beach. The borders of its heavily shaded streets meet with Whaley Park and the Traffic Circle area on the west, El Dorado South on the east, East/Eastside Long Beach on the north, and Park Estatesand CSU Long Beach on the south.

We Love Long Beach is pleased to host this latest opportunity to foster a sense of community and invites all residents of Los Altos to participate in what promises to be a positive and uniquely shared experience. In the last year, WLLB has also held free community breakfasts in Wrigley, Bixby Knolls and Belmont Shore.

Spread the word and invite your neighbors to Breakfast in Los Altos with We Love Long Beach. The breakfast will take place Saturday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Crawford Home, 5490 East Hill Street near the park. Los Altos Park is west of Bellflower Boulevard and north of Stearns Street.
