Meet, Greet and Eat With General Election Candidates

In its ongoing presentation of candidates and their vision for the neighborhoods and the City of Long Beach. The North Long Beach Community Action Group, Deforest Neighborhood Association, Grant Neighborhood Association, and The Long Beach Dairy and Creamery is presenting its General Election Candidate’s Brunch and Community Awareness “Meet, Greet and Eat.” Neighborhood associations, and the community at large are invited and encouraged to come. The following candidates are invited and may be attending;

  • 47 Congressional District: Hon. Alan Lowenthal and Andy Whallon
  • 64th Assembly District: Hon. Mike Gipson, Prophet Walker Both Attending
  • 70th Assembly District: Hon. Patrick O’Donald and John Goya ( Both )
  • Sheriff Candidates: Chief Jim Mc Donnell and Paul Tanaka (both attending)
  • Water Replenishment: Gerrie Schipske, Lynn Dymally, Tonia Reyes Uranga, Larry Andre, Mason Inocentes, John Allen
  • 37th Assembly District: Janet Nguyen, Jose Solorio
  • 72 Assembly District: Travis Allen, Joel Block
  • OC Supervisors: Michelle Steel, Alan Monsoor

Former and current Council members will be in attendance Hon Sally Havice, Hon. Val Lerch, Hon. Steven Neal, Hon. Rex Richardson, Hon. Roberto Uranga, and Local Media. This is an informal event open to the public. You may ask any questions you desire privately or openly. This is an opportunity where candidates can respond and interact with you.  The event is a great opportunity for the rest of the community as well as candidates.

The candidate meet and greet is September 13, 2014 from 9:30a to 1:30p at the Historic Long Beach Dairy and Creamery 167 E. South St., Long Beach 90805
