Mike Jensen, 2011 Long Beach Plane Crash Survivor, to speak at YMCA Good Friday Breakfast.

On Friday, April 3rd the YMCA of Greater Long Beach will host the 47th annual Good Friday Breakfast at the Long Beach Convention Center’s Grand Ballroom from 7:15-9:00am.

Keynote Speaker, Michael C. Jensen will share his story as the sole survivor of the horrific plane crash that occurred at Long Beach Airport on March 16, 2011, taking the lives of five businessmen and community leaders, including Mark Bixby, a member of one of Long Beach’s founding families.

Mike Jensen barely survived, spending the weeks following the crash hovering between life and death. He will share in his address how God is always with us, even in our darkest hours.

This inspirational event, sponsored by Mike and Arline Walter, provides an opportunity for business professionals and community leaders to come together to reflect on their lives, families, community, and relationship with God. While this annual gathering celebrates the Y’s Judeo-Christian heritage, the event is open to all.

Individual tickets to the event are $50, and a table sponsorship, which includes preferential seating for 10 and program recognition, is $600. Please reserve your seat by March 25 by visiting www.lbymca.org or call 562.279.1700 to register.
