Orozco is recognized as one of the world’s greatest artists. He denounced war and was admired for his integrity and honesty. He was the most complex of the Mexican muralists, fond of the theme of human suffering but less realistic and more fascinated by machines than Rivera. The major art movement that influenced Orozco was Symbolism. Don’t miss this fascinating lecture.
Tickets for Murals Under the Stars cost $40 for priority entrance and $30 for general admission. MoLAA members save $10.
