The season is almost half over, but there are plenty of great shows still planned for Movies on the Beach. Next Tuesday join friends and fans at Granada Beach for a screening of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone hosted by Alfredo’s Beach House. Or, plan a date night to see Top Gun on Wednesday.
Organizers are encouraging people to dress up as their favorite Harry Potter character. There will be prizes for best costume and raffle giveaways before the movie including a trip for 2 to Catalina Island!
Local business Red Eye Media will be selling special Harry Potter movie themed T shirts. Plus, there will be special movie treats for sale from a kettle corn vendor, the ice cream sundae food truck, and hot dog and hamburger specials right off the grill.
Moonlight Movies on the Beach is proud to have been showing movies for the past 9 years, originally starting as a feature of the Long Beach Sea Festival. It has quickly become a local crowd favorite, and crowds have flocked to the beach to enjoy this rapidly growing entertainment. The best part about Moonlight Movies on the Beach is that the movie screenings are always FREE, and there is an abundance of free parking at the conveniently located beach parking lot.
