Detectives Investigate Murder of Victim Discovered At Bus Stop

crime-scene-tape bus stop murderOn Tuesday, April 05, 2011, shortly before 7:00 a.m., Long Beach Police officers responded to an unknown trouble call at Wardlow Road and Webster Avenue regarding a possible unconscious person at the bus stop.

When officers arrived, they discovered the body of an adult male deceased on the bus bench. The victim had been stabbed several times in the upper torso with an unknown object. Paramedics were summoned, however, the victim was confirmed deceased at the scene. At this time, the victim is only being identified as a 36-year-old male with a last known address in Los Angeles. His identity is being withheld until his next of kin can be notified. Long Beach Police Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation.
