Free Neighborhood Problem Solving Workshop July 27th

job searchThe Neighborhood Resource Center invites residents to learn about “Neighborhood Problem Solving” on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at 425 Atlantic Avenue. The workshop is free.

Residents will learn what they can do to address neighborhood issues such as drugs, gangs, noise, trash, graffiti and chronic nuisances.

  • Workshop panelists from the City of Long Beach will include:
  • Long Beach City Prosecutor Doug Haubert;
  • Lei Ronca, Code Enforcement Officer;
  • Kym Cloughesy, Police Services Specialist; and
  • Nelson Kerr, Manager of Environmental Health

The City of Long Beach is dedicated to providing residents with the resources to create safe and healthy neighborhoods.

Free parking is available behind the building and on the street. Spanish and Khmer translation will be available. Attendees may bring canned food to donate to Food Finders.
