Neighborhood Resource Center Hosts “Community Association Leadership” Workshop

The workshop, which is tailored for board of directors in Common Interest Developments (CIDs), is presented by the Neighborhood Resource Center and the Community Association Institute, Greater Los Angeles Chapter.

Workshop presenters will be Alex Noland, Esq., from Swedelson & Gottlieb, and Steven A. Roseman, Esq., from Roseman & Associates, APC. 

Workshop topics include:

  • Overview of Common Interest Development Governance
  • Legal Documents
  • Rights and Obligations
  • Board Roles and Responsibilities
  • The Davis-Stirling Act and You

The workshop we be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 425 Atlantic Avenue.

Attendees are invited to bring canned food to donate to Food Finders to assist our Long Beach neighbors during the current economic crisis.
