New Playground and Fitness Zone to Open at Bixby Park Saturday


A new playground and fitness loop at Bixby Park will open to the public at a dedication ceremony on Saturday, September 5, at 9:00 am. The event will begin near the new “Camp Bixby” play equipment at Second Street and Junipero Avenue.

I had in hand various reports and sightings of Route 10 that had it slithering through Colorado Lagoon, Belmont Heights, and along Broadway. One of these reports included a confirmed sighting of a ‘Begin’ sign on Loma Ave at Ocean Blvd.
