Nino’s Italian Restaurant in Bixby Knolls is partnering with Aquarium of the Pacific to serve “sustainable seafood” for dinner. With each appetizer or dinner of sustainable seafood ordered cust0mers will receive a free ticket to the Aquarium of the Pacific.
“This is a very exciting promotion to be a part of and it is good way to bring awareness to everyone about sustainable seafood options,” said Carina Cristiano Leoni.
In addition to the special sustainable seafood promotion, Nino’s has a brand new menu offering a revised children’s menu, “healthy living portions,” classic Italian favorites, and affordable pricing. This is a very exciting way for Nino’s to celebrate their 51st year in business on July 31.
“Nino’s is one of the Founding members of this restaurant program in Long Beach,” said Andrew Gruel, Seafood for the Future Manager of the Aquarium of the Pacific. He further explains, “Sustainable seafood is fished in a manner that doesn’t hurt the ecosystem, that doesn’t produce waste/bycatch, and supports local communities.”
In addition, Carina has captured Andrew speaking on sustainable seafood to further educate our community about it. You can see the video below or on YouTube at www.youtube.com/carinaconnects.
