“Road Stoves” or gourmet taco trucks will set up shop at the Long Beach Sunday Market located in California Heights this weekend. The event this Sunday, December 27, will be the farmer’s market debut of Baby’s Badass Burgers, a hot pink catering rig serving up burgers and dogs.
Baby’s burger truck will be parked in front of the market serving up gourmet burgers from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Shoppers can stop by on their way in or out of the farmers market to grab a bite and “show the Baby’s staff a little love,” said market manager Kelli Johnson.
from their website: Baby’s Badass Burgers sprang from the imaginations and experiences of ex-New Yorker restaurateur Erica Cohen and celebrated event planner Lori Barbera. Cohen launched her career in the restaurant world as one of the founding partners in the first of The ONE Group’s many restaurants. Cohen, a passionate foodie and burgermeister at heart who had “been searching for the perfect, quintessential cheeseburger since [she] was a little girl,” decided that in order to satiate her quest she would have to create her own flawless burger: the Simple Original Beauty on the BBB menu.
Burgers start at $5. Hungry market-goers can also opt for Nathan’s hot dogs or a chicken sandwich. For a complete menu and locations visit Baby’s Badass Burgers online at babysbadassburgers.com and sign up to follow them on twitter.
This event is premier of what promises to be a very tasty addition to the Long Beach Sunday Market. The farmers market will host a different gourmet food truck every month. Coming in January — The Dosa Truck.
