Great Fall Classes Available for Everyone From Parks, Recreation and MarineThe Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine invites the public to share in a special birthday celebration for Winnie the Pooh’s author, and also to help share the living history at Rancho Los Cerritos with the community.

Find out how you can become a living history tour docent, help maintain the historic gardens, or assist with the museum shop. Learn about the Rancho’s educational programs and our seasonal events. This is a great way to make new friends, see how a museum operates behind-the-scenes, learn about local history and antiques, and give back to your community in a meaningful way. A complimentary continental breakfast will be provided.

Winnie the Pooh Day at El Dorado Nature Center
Wednesday, January 18, from 10 to 11:30 am, 7550 E Spring St.

Help celebrate the birthday of Winnie the Pooh’s author, A.A. Milne, with games and crafts, and then venture out into our own 100-acre wood for some more birthday fun. This Parent and Me Workshop is for children ages 2 to 5, and is $10 per parent/child.
