2012-09-17 · By Editor
EverythingLongBeach recently spoke with Carlos Morales, President and founder of wooftidoo pet services, via email. They talked about inspirations, challenges and what’s it’s like having a business in Long Beach and surrounding areas.
How long have you been in business?
2 years, going on our 3rd since we launched
Describe your business:
We are locally owned and operated. We are a family business helping families and their pets. Our commitment to excellence has paid off. We are now the best rated pet services company in Long Beach. We just started our very new daycare service which is the only outdoors daycare for doggies in Long Beach that you can track via GPS, picture updates and text updates. Additionally, you can see doggie bios for each pack, it is amazing!
Travel and pet concierge services
Exotic pet care
Why did you start wooftidoo pet services?
My volunteer work and adopting Trina, my 5yo pitbull mix. I realized I wanted to help doggies and pet parents who needed help with their doggies.
What makes wooftidoo pet services stand out?
We are a team of experienced dog walkers, pet sitters and trainers in Long Beach, Los Angeles and Orange County.
We are insured and bonded
We are certified in Pet First Aid by the American Red Cross
Our team is required to pass a criminal background check
Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed!
What is the biggest success wooftidoo pet services has had?
Our doggie daycare is definitely a huge success, we sold out the first week we opened it and are now servicing the doggies in the waiting list. We think that it has been so successful because we designed it from the pet parents perspective: What would we want out of a daycare?
Someones backyard? No
20 dogs in a van driving to a dog park? No
We wanted true daycare and peace of mind.
What is your favorite part of running your business?
Same as when we opened our virtual doors, working with dogs that need help and getting to know them. At the end of the day, we get paid to play with puppies in California weather, it truly is a dream!
What are the biggest challenges you face?
Market saturation by unaccredited, uninsured, irresponsible and uncommitted independents.
What unique talents do you bring to wooftidoo pet services?

Cat and Dog First Aid – American Red Cross
Background check profile – Sittercity

How is wooftidoo pet services involved with the community?
We believe in giving back to the community so we donate our time to the spcaLA every week by working with sheleter animals in need.
We also started an initiative to bring awareness to responsible ownership in Long Beach:
Additionally, our website is powered by 100% wind energy and our materials are printed on recycled paper whenever possible.
Do you have any future plans for wooftidoo pet services?
Our dream is to start a rescue for doggies in danger of being put down. We are hoping 2013 will be the year!
What is the best advice that you received and who did it come from?
My mom, she said: “If you don’t want to go into a corporate office again, don’t, life is too short, find something you enjoy.”
One Last Thing:
My pledge to you: You can feel safe that your pet is in the best hands: experienced, trained, certified and insured professionals who will treat your best friend as our own.
