Sample Signature Dishes of Pine Ave. Restaurants at Taste of Downtown June 4 & 5

The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) is continuing its 2014 Taste of Downtown series on June 4 & 5 from 6-10 p.m. on Pine Avenue between 1st and 3rd Streets. The event will feature sample sized portions of signature dishes from more than 25 Downtown restaurants, along with beer, wine and live music performed by Moonsville Collective. Taste of Downtown is also a pet-friendly event that will include sips and snacks for four-legged friends from Pussy & Pooch.

Participating Downtown Long Beach restaurants include: Agaves, Alegria, Alondra Hot Wings, Beachwood BBQ & Brewing, Bo Beau’s, Buono’s, Café Sevilla, Clancy’s, Gaucho Grill, George’s Greek Café, Gladstones, Hooters, Johnny Rockets, King’s Fish House, La Shish, L’Opera Ristorante, Michael’s Pizzeria, Octopus, Pier 76 Fish Grill, Pussy & Pooch, Shannon’s on Pine, SIP Lounge, Steamed, The Auld Dubliner, The Federal Bar, and The Sky Room.

“Pine Avenue is a dining destination for the region,” shared Kraig Kojian, President & CEO of the DLBA. “New additions like Bo-beau of the San Diego-based Cohn Group add to the quality and variety of dining choices in the district. We are excited to showcase these menus to the community.”

Guests are encouraged to take public transportation or ride their bike to the event and a complimentary bike valet will be provided. Guests can purchase discounted presale tasting tickets online beginning May 16 at noon for $10 for 12 tickets, $20 for 24 tickets, or $30 for 36 tickets until June 4 at noon or pay $1 per ticket at the door.
