After years of planning, meeting, and raising the necessary funds, we will be breaking ground on the Pine Avenue Improvement Project in just a few months. This project will include a brand new street from Shoreline Drive to Anaheim, new trees and palms, new scramble crosswalks, creative lighting, new street furniture, trash cans, and much more. Pine Avenue will finally get the face lift it deserves.

These infrastructure improvements are on top of all of the great developments and new retail and restaurants moving to Pine Avenue including Molina Healthcare, Hamburger Mary’s, and much more. You are invited to learn how this major construction project will impact local residents and businesses at two upcoming meetings:

When: Wednesday, October 16 & Thursday, October 17
Time: 3:30pm and 6:30pm on both days
Where: Small Business Development Center, 309 Pine Avenue

For more information, you can call (562) 908-3516 or email us at

For an in depth look at the project, download the brochure here.

This has been a priority project, and will be transformative for Downtown Long Beach and Pine Avenue – hope to see you at one of the meetings.
