Pirate Festival in Shoreline Village

Every year Shoreline Village is taken over by dozens of pirates turning the waterfront into a swashbuckling adventure enjoyed by all. Come join Shoreline Village and Pirates for Hire at the Pirate Festival on Saturday, August 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Dress up as your favorite pirate and enjoy some great pirate activities like: Sword Fighting, Treasure Hunt, Kids Activities, Dagger Throwing, Harbor Cruises, Face Painting, Fire Breathing, Knot tying station, Inflatable for kids, Pirate Bands, Pirate Photos, Costume Contests for all ages, Strolling Musicians, Climb the rat line, Magician, Pirate Astrologer, Balloon Artists, Free Tattoos for the kids and more.
The Pirate Festival in Shoreline Village is sponsored by Downtown Long Beach Associates and Damzl Fuel Energy Drink. Spirit Cruises will be running a Pirate Cruise from Dock 9, all day. Adults: $12, Children under 12: $6 and children under 5 are free.
Shoreline Village is located at the south end of the 710 Freeway), just next to the Aquarium of the Pacific. To get there take Shoreline Drive past the Aquarium and Pine Avenue, then turn right onto Shoreline Village Drive.
Parking and Transportation: $1 parking with validation (up to 2 hours) with a minimum purchase at any Shoreline Village shop or restaurant. After the first 2 hours the rate is $2.00 per 20 minutes. Or, take the Passport, a free shuttle bus service that connects Shoreline Village to the downtown area every 12 minutes.
