Police Seek Person of Interest in Murder Investigation (VIDEO)

On Monday, September 19, 2016, video surveillance footage was released depicting a person of interest wanted for questioning in the murder of 26-year-old Carina Mancera, and her 4-year-old Jennabel Anaya of Long Beach. It is believed this individual may have left the area and/or the State of California. The individual is described as a male African American in his 20’s or 30’s. He was observed on video in a local business after the shooting occurred and then on a blue line train shortly after that. He boarded the train at 5th Street and Long Beach Bl. and rode it into Los Angeles. He then got off at the San Pedro Station located at Washington and San Pedro Street.  Anyone who is able to identify this person, or knows of his whereabouts, is urged to contact the Long Beach Police Department’s Homicide Detail at (5623) 570-7244.
