“Princess and the Frog” to Screen at King Park Sept. 2

Parks, Recreation & Marine’s “Movie in the Park,” “The Princess and the Frog,” will be shown on Thursday, September 2 at Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The movie was originally scheduled at McBride Park on August 20 and was rescheduled to King Park due to construction.
Construction is underway at McBride Park for a new 5,275 square foot teen center, and new parking lot and skate park. An additional .15 acres of park space will be added along the 16th Street side of the park. The Teen Center building will include a multi-purpose room, kitchen, game room, lounge, study room and computer room.
The Parks,Recreation & Marine presentation of the movie The Princess and the Frog is Thursday, September 2, 2010, 8pm at Martin Luther King Jr. Park 1950 Lemon Avenue, Long Beach, 90806.
