Belmont Pool Swim Lessons

The public is invited to attend a meeting to discuss the upcoming rebuild of the Belmont Pool Facilities. Please plan to attend this important meeting to hear and comment on the most current information regarding the conceptual design of the project, including the results of the recent Stakeholder Advisory Committee process and next steps for the project.

Over the past two months, a Committee representing the various user groups, aquatics disciplines, residents, businesses, recreational users, and all other stakeholders has been meeting to use input from the community to create a recommended design for the new pool within the financial resources available for the project.

At the public meeting, the City of Long Beach will provide an update on the pool project, and members of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee will take public input on their recommended design. For more information on the Committee’s work to date and recommended design, please see below.

This meeting will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 5:30 pm, at Will Rogers Middle School Auditorium, 365 Monrovia Ave., Long Beach, CA 90803.
