Ready to Get Fit? iPersonal Trainer is the App for That!

Two Southern California entrepreneurs recently announce iPersonal Trainer, a personal fitness app released just in time for New Year’s resolutions.

Long Beach developer Bryan Aamot of www.brainware.net and Fitness Expert Nick Rians of www.fitnessworkx.comin Huntington Beach explained their goal for the iPhone and iPod Touch app:

iPersonal Trainer designs ideal workout routines based on individual fitness level and goals. The app also tracks a user’s progress and adjusts weights and reps automatically. Built-In hi res videos and tips explain how to do the exercises. Loaded with tools to track your progress.

Designed and tested by Certified Personal Trainers in Southern California, iPersonal Trainer provides hundreds of proven, effective exercises for both men and women.

The profile settings are used to determine the best exercise for each user’s needs. Tools include:

  • BMI Calculator
  • Plate Calculator
  • Video Player
  • Body Measurement Tracker
  • Before and After Pictures
  • Stop Watch

To create the fitness app, Rians provided the videos and the exercise routine data and Aamot provided the software.

Nick is a former US Marine, Ultimate Fighter, and currently runs a successful business with a staff of trainers teaching everyone from kid to professional athletes. In his spare time he helps organize community events for the city.

Aamot is a former Senior Technical Manager / Systems Architect from America Online with a background in Aerospace Engineering. He currently creates apps for the iPhone/iPad and builds large-scale, service-based websites. Aamot’s best selling app is Tide Graph which has been in the top 25 of the Navigation category for nearly two years.
