Residents Invited to Provide Input on Livable West Long Beach Plan
2015-06-16 · By Editor
The public is invited to attend a Planning Commission Study Session and provide input on the draft Livable West Long Beach Plan (Plan), on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at 5:00 pm in the City Council Chambers in Long Beach City Hall, 333 W. Ocean Blvd.
The draft Plan identifies and prioritizes the implementation of existing policies and projects that will enhance the livability of West Long Beach neighborhoods, and have a major impact on the community’s physical environment, health and wellness, and economy. The City of Long Beach has completed the draft Plan thanks in part to a grant provided by the Port of Long Beach.
A consultant team will present an overview of the draft Plan, and discuss the results of the community outreach efforts and focus groups. To view a summary of the community’s input for Livable West Long Beach, visit www.lbds.info/westlongbeachplan.
