2010-12-16 · By Editor
A road resurfacing project on the westbound lanes of West Ocean Boulevard that was set for this weekend has been postponed because of a forecast of inclement weather. The project will be rescheduled until sometime after New Year’s Day.
Work on the eastbound side was completed last weekend. The project will resurface and improve Ocean Boulevard just west of the World Trade Center and on the bridge over the Los Angeles River.
When the work is rescheduled, the Port will notify the public of the road closures.
The project will repair and upgrade the roadway to restore a smooth driving surface for motorists. It is being managed by the Harbor Department and coordinated through the Long Beach Public Works Department.
