Robbery Suspect Sought; Police Request Public Assistance

On Monday, October 4, 2010 at approximately 3:46 p.m., a male entered a business located in the 2100 block of East 4th Street, and assaulted a 77- year- old female before robbing her. The suspect took cash and resumed the violent assault on the elderly victim, then exited the business. The suspect was last seen walking north on St. Louis Avenue.
The suspect is a dark complected male with a in his early twenties. He is clean- shaven and was wearing a blue jacket and glasses at the time of the assault.
