Rock For Vets Salutes Heroes with Free Concert Sept. 20

On Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 3pm to 5pm there will be the 2nd Annual Free Concert in Signal Hill Park on the Corner of Cherry Ave and Hill St, 90755. The concert is planned to honor Signal Hill and Long Beach Veterans and their families.

The Rock For Vets band (a music education program servicing Veterans of all ages and abilities) will be performing as well as the ever popular Boxcar 7. There will be Military vehicles provided by the Army National Guard under command of 1st Sgt Jerry Shultz and meet Mrs. Long Beach Brina Marie Romero-Montano. 

Show your support and attend this free concert to salute our Nations heroes. Bring a lawn chair and something to eat and enjoy live music.

It is through the kindness and generosity of the City of Signal Hill, Glenn E Thomas of Signal Hill (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Fiat), McDonald’s on Cherry Ave and Willow St, Accountable Health Care Signal Hill, Orozco’s Auto Service, EDCO Disposal, Red Eye Media and Signal Hill Petroleum that this concert will be free to the public. There will also be prizes from Signal Hill local business owners.
