Learn about the LB2030 plan at Rose Park community meeting

The Rose Park Neighborhood Association will host a neighborhood meeting this Thursday at the Luther Burbank Elementary School. The community meeting will cover topics important to the residents of Rose Park.
“It is a great time to meet your neighbors; find out what is happening and discover ways to connect,” explained a press release issued by the group.
The March meeting speakers will be:
- Steve Gerhardt from the Long Beach City Planning Office who will present the city of Long Beach’s long-range master plan, known as the LB2030 Plan.
- Kymberly Cloughesy, the Long Beach East Police Liaison, speaking about C.O.P.S. program and how to report a crime.
- Wendy Griffin, RPNA Board Member, will a discussion of Code Enforcement Volunteering.
The Rose Park Neighborhood Association hosts community meetings throughout the year to encourage interaction and identify shared concerns. All are welcome; however the purpose is to inform the residents and members of the Rose Park neighborhood. The neighborhood boundaries are Cherry Avenue to Redondo Avenue and 4th Street to 10thStreet.
The Rose Park Neighborhood meeting will take place Thursday, March 4, at 6:00 p.m. at the Luther Burbank Elementary School auditorium at 4th and Junipero in Long Beach. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org.
