Learn how to Save Energy, Money at Free Workshop on Aug. 18

energy rebates long beach Save Energy-Save MoneyLong Beach residents are invited to a free “Save Energy-Save Money” workshop, Wednesday, August 18, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the , 425 Atlantic Ave.

Attendees will learn about City of Long Beach and water conservation and incentive programs, and Southern California Edison (SCE) efficiency rebates and programs.

Workshop presenters will be Meredith Reynolds, Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Long Beach Office of Sustainability, Matthew Veeh, Director of Government and Public Affairs at the Department, Jim Hodge from Southern California Edison, and Darick J. Simpson, Executive Director of Long Beach Community Action Partnership.

Attendees are invited to bring canned food to donate to to assist our Long Beach neighbors during the current economic crisis.

This workshop will be presented in English with Spanish and Khmer translation available. Free parking is available behind the building and on the street.
