2009-06-16 · By Editor
SCE’s 2009 Energy Assistance Fund (EAF) customer assistance program began on June 1st. Customers who qualify may receive up to $100 toward their SCE energy bill.
Energy Assistance Fund (EAF) Summary:
2009 EAF assistance is available to income-qualified residential customers, starting June 1, 2009, until funds are exhausted. EAF provides up to $100 in utility payment assistance once in a 12-month period. Assistance amount is based on actual amount owed to SCE.
CARE enrollment will be offered directly on the EAF applications for qualified customers not already on the CARE rate. To receive assistance, customers must make a request directly to an EAF disbursement agency; see Excel listing attached. (SCE has approximately 80 EAF agencies throughout our service territory.)
To locate an agency, customers can visit sce.com/eaf, or call SCE at (800) 655-4555 or download a flyer here.
