Here is a list of Sea Festival events taking place this weekend.

August 1-2: Dragon Boat Festival

The 13th Annual Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival – featuring teams from Trinidad and Taiwan among the 76 entries – will churn up the waters of Marine Stadium in Long Beach Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 1-2. Admission is free for the weekend, which also includes colorful displays, educational booths and sample ethnic cuisine.

August 1-2: Crawfish Festival

The 16th Annual Crawfish Festival will celebrate the spirit of Louisiana’s Cajun Country August 1-2 in Rainbow Lagoon with the best of Cajun, Zydeco and New Orleans music and tons of fresh crawfish prepared Louisiana-style and served by Cajun chefs, making it the largest Crawfish Festival outside of Louisiana. The two-day event will feature a giant food court, children’s area, dance floor, two stages for live music, and lots more.

August 2: Taste of the Coast

Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier will host a day of fine food, music and fun from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, August 2 at “Pier Daze – Taste of the Coast.” The event benefits Long Beach Kids Connection, which provides health, education, support and maintenance for children in need in the greater Long Beach area. “Taste of the Coast” will feature an extensive menu of great food and drink from more than 30 area restaurants, live music and dancing.

August 3-7: Land Meets Sea Sports Camp

More than 350 people, including many with varying disabilities, will enjoy four days of beach and water fun August 3-7 at the 15th Annual Land Meets Sea Sports Camp at Marine Stadium, U.S. Sailing Center, Mother’s Beach and the Belmont Pool. Campers will enjoy a wide variety of activities, including water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, kayaking, deep sea fishing, hot air ballooning, among others.
