International City Theatre wants to make subscribing to its 30th Anniversary five-play season a piece of cake. New this year, the company is offering a 12-payment plan program of only $15 a month, good for any subscription level including Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees (regularly $185) and Opening Nights (regularly $204).

“We wanted to create an option that would make it simple to enjoy professional theater on a budget, similar to a gym membership,” explains ICT marketing associate Erik Garcia. “Subscribers are the backbone of our theater, so we are always looking for innovative ways to make supporting ICT easy and appealing. Twelve small payments provide access to our entire 2015 season and the opportunity to experience a full journey of diverse productions that entertain and offer thoughtful reflection on our shared humanity.”

ICT’s 30th Anniversary Season kicks off on Feb. 20 with End of the Rainbow, Peter Quilter’s tour de force musical drama about Judy Garland, and finishes the year in October with the Los Angeles premiere of Sondheim on Sondheim, the James Lapine-conceived musical revue that offers an inside glimpse into the artistic process of Broadway’s foremost composer/lyricist. The three other plays include the West Coast premiere of Abigail/1702 in which Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa picks up the tale of Arthur Miller’s child-villain Abigail Williams ten years after The Crucible; a 30th anniversary production of August Wilson’s modern American classic, Fences, which premiered at Yale Rep in 1985 — the same year that ICT was founded; and the Los Angeles premiere of David Ives’ inspired and hilarious adaptation of Jean-François Regnard‘s 18th century French classic, The Heir Apparent.
