Shred-4-Good: Second Tuesday of the month the first box is free

The second Tuesday of each month is Free Shred Days at Shred-4-Good (Goodwill), 800 West Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach.
Stop by between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and free yourself from storing sensitive documents. Your documents will even be shredded while you watch. The first box is free, each additional box is $5 each.
In addition to the free shredding services. Those that stop by will get valuable information from monthly featured speakers. Past speakers have included U.S. Postal Inspector Shari Delaney and the Long Beach Police Department, both of whom spoke about the dangers of identity theft.
Don’t take short cuts with sensitive information. Goodwill is an environmentally conscious way to get rid of your sensitive papers and reduce the amount of trash sent to landfills.
Shred-4-Good offers two types of secure document shredding services all month long to both the business community and local residents.
- Clients can put their paper waste into Shred-4-Good provided containers. The containers are picked-up on a weekly or monthly schedule and the papers are shredded at Goodwill’s facilities.
- One-time bulk purge service is also available. Collect or archive your sensitive documents according to your own system, then call Shred-4-Good for a pick-up.
Shred-4-Good is AAA certified by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID).of your documents is protected from pickup through shredding and a Certificate of Destruction is provided with every invoice.
