For just a few more days this week Simms Restaurants, which includes the new gastro pub Simmzy’s in Belmont Shore, will be donating a portion of the sales from some of their specialty and most popular menu items to support cancer research, education and support groups. They’re calling it “10 Days for Ta-Tas”
Simmzy’s on Second Street is donating all the proceeds from their Simmzy’s Hef, Honey Blonde and sangria, as well as $1 from each Simmzy’s burger to the Long Beach Memorial Cancer Center.
It’s a big deal and we have team members, family members, guests and local folks that have all been affected by this in one way or another. Our teammates give so much to us through their performance everyday as do our guests every time they visit our restaurants. We appreciate it all and are big believers in giving back not only to the people but also the communities they live in. It’s all about taking care of each other. We may not come up with the worlds largest donation but what we do give will mean the world to us because of what went into it and why we did it and it; like everything we do, will be special because the idea was born from passion and done from the heart.
Visit Simmzy’s for lunch or dinner at 5271 East 2nd Street, Long Beach. Or check out their website for more details – http://simmzys.com. The restaurant is also open for breakfast on the weekends, but you won’t be able to order promotional food.
