Take a sip of the Renaissance Hotel’s new lounge

Locals looking for a new place to relax and have fun can now head to sip at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel. The new venue is  “modern, upscale, and upbeat, serving hand-crafted cocktails, great craft beers, fine wines by the glass, and perfectly paired food items,” according to the hotel’s General Manager Nusrat Mirza.

The decor of sip features intimate seating areas with plush chaise lounges, leather couches, and oversized chairs which beckon guests to sink in, unwind, and relax.

For those seeking some fresh air and a little ocean breeze, sip’s outdoor patio is complete with daybed style seating, a cozy fire pit, and radiant heated floor.

The food menu at sip features a wide variety of options including “Snack and Share” plates available in small and large such as Roasted Artichoke, “Jidori” Chicken Wings, Carolina Pork Ribs, and a California Cheese Board. Additionally there are a variety of salads, flatbreads, burgers (beef and lamb), sandwiches, and sweets.

Patrons can enjoy signature sip cocktails like The Cuban Society, The Aviation, and Sorriso, or stick with classics such as Cosmpolitans, Martinis, and Mojitos. In addition, sip features an extensive and unique collection of high-end wines by the glass.  Happy Hour at the sip lounge takes place Sundays through Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. when beverages and appetizers range from $1 to $6 each.
