Snow will fall February 20 in Whaley Park for family play day

If you’re starting to feel a chill in the air, it could be because the annual Fourth District Snow Day is returning to Whaley Park. Snow Day will now take place Saturday, February 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event was rescheduled after the storm series left the park grounds too saturated to hold the event safely.

Snow bunnies will enjoy tons of snow with four sled runs, bounce houses and barbecued hot dogs. It’s a day of family fun in the 4th District hosted by Councilmember Patrick O’Donnell  in partnership with the Long Beach Police Officers Association, Long Beach Firefighters Local 372, Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe, Signal Hill Petroleum, the Port of Long Beach and local Realtor Joe Sopo.
