st-mary-medical-centerSt. Mary Medical Center invites the public to a free lecture on Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) on Wednesday, June 24th at 7:00 p.m. on St. Mary’s campus at 1050 Linden Avenue in the Parr Health Enhancement Center. The lecture will be presented by Dr. Bruce McLucas, St. Mary staff OB/GYN physician and Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA.

Women who suffer with the ill-effects of fibroids, i.e., heavy bleeding, swollen abdomen and pelvic pain, can learn about uterine fibroid embolization, a safe and minimally invasive alternative to either a hysterectomy or a myomectomy. Uterine fibroid embolization shrinks fibroids and thus patients experience less pain, fewer side effects and a speedier recovery.

To RSVP for the n Uterine Fibroid Embolization lecture, contact St. Mary Medical Center at 1-888-4STMARY or 1-888-478-6279.
