St. Mary Medical Center Hosts Annual Body and Soul Event Today

St. Mary Medical Center will provide free health screenings and lectures on campus at the annual Body and Soul event today, Feb. 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. Members of the public are welcome to attend the event in the Health Enhancement Center at St. Mary Medical Center, 1050 Linden Ave.

Blood pressure screenings will be performed by Women’s Heart Center clinicians. Glucose screenings will be performed by the Diabetes Education Department clinicians. And HealthCare Partners Medical Group technicians will provide bone density screenings. Results will be available during the event.

Lectures by physicians will begin at 5 p.m. Irene P. Leech, MD, will talk about asthma and lung diseases, and Ravi Menghani, MD, will talk about diabetic retinopathy. There will also be lectures by other physicians about hypertension and breast cancer.
