The season four finals of one of the biggest Starcraft II tournaments in the world is headed to the SMG-managed Center Theater on Saturday December 9th, 2012 and Sunday December 10th, 2012. The competition is presented by the North American Star League (NASL).

Founded in 2011, the NASL is a professional e-sports league and is the biggest Starcraft II tournament outside of Korea. It features 50 of the world’s best players competing for over $100,000 in prizes.

“We are pleased to present the North American Star League Season 4 Grand Finals at the Center Theater,” said Dan Spellens, Director of Theaters & Entertainment for SMG at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.  “We look forward to this two-day event,” he concluded. 

Starcraft II is a real-time strategy game where players attempt to build and control an army to defeat their opponent. It is the sequel to Starcraft by Blizzard Entertainment and is one of the best selling games of all time.

The NASL Season 4 Grand Finals will put the top placing players of the season up against each other in a single-elimination tournament to determine the Season 4 Champion.
