The Queen Mary is pleased to welcome the addition of Stick Figure to the reggae festival lineup for the second annual Shoreline Jam. Saturday, September 1 will present all day reggae on the beautiful waterfront event park with acclaimed artists Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, The Wailers, Ballyoo!, The Lions, Passafire, L.B.D.A. and Black Uhuru performing live as well as local Long Beach bands Sono Vero, Beyond I Sight, Phat Reggae Dub and Brewfish taking the stage.
Stick Figure is the renowned one-man-band roots reggae project of multi instrumentalist, Scott Woodruff, who writes, records and produces all of Stick Figure’s music. In June of 2012 Stick Figure released its fifth full-length studio album titled “Burial Ground.” The album has been noted as Woodruff’s best work to date and is a fresh blend of roots and reverberating hypnotic dub rhythms that remain true to the original sounds that Stick Figure has become known for.
Shoreline Jam will take place at The Queen Mary Event Park, the most picturesque waterfront park venue in Southern California. A specialty beer, food and vendor garden will be open serving Heineken, Red Bull, local restaurant fare and much more during the event. Gates open at 11 a.m. and live music will continue throughout the day until 11:30 p.m. Tickets for Shoreline Jam are $35 general admission and $75 for VIP access that includes VIP admission, four drink tickets, exclusive VIP lounge access and complimentary parking.
