Have 5 Minutes? Share Your Opinion on the Arts in Long Beach
2011-02-25 · By Editor
The Downtown Long Beach Associates has team with city government and local arts organizations to develop a survey that aims to help officials gain a better understanding of how art events and related activities in Downtown are utilized and where potential may exist for expansion and growth. The survey is online now and open to all residents, but must be completed before March 4.
Less than five minutes in length, the survey asks participants to share their experiences with and perceptions of current arts-related programming in Downtown as well as examples of activities outside of Downtown that they perceive to be of interest.
Information collected will be reviewed by the DLBA and co-authoring organizations and synthesized into a format that can be shared with those interested in helping to support and grow arts and culture as an economic driver in Downtown Long Beach.
Take the short survey and help shape future arts programming in Downtown Long Beach—you may even win a $50 Downtown Gift Card while you’re at it. The survey is available online by clicking here and will be closed on Friday, March 4, 2011.
The survey data on arts events in Long Beach is being gathered by the Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA), in partnership with the Office of Vice Mayor Dr. Suja Lowenthal, the City of Long Beach Department of Special Events and Filming, the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency (RDA), the East Village Association and the Arts Council of Long Beach.
