See these vehicles at the KABC Clean Air Car Showcase:

2010 Toyota Prius. Welcome to the 3rd generation Prius, where Man’s wants and Nature’s needs agree. Using the wind, the sun and advanced hybrid technology, Prius is a true full hybrid – one reason for its EPA-estimated combined 50 MPG rating

The 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid really gets up and goes. And it does it ultra-efficiently by operating at speeds of up to 47 MPH IN PURE ELECTRIC MODE – that’s more than any other hybrid on the planet. Beyond 47 mph, the system engages its new 2.5L I-4 Atkinson-cycle engine to work with the electric traction motor, the electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission, and the 275-volt sealed nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) battery pack, powering Fusion Hybrid with up to 191 NET HP.

The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is delivered with the combination of a V6 gasoline engine and electric motors/generators, which work at low speeds and have self-charging battery packs. The MPG rating for the all wheel drive model is 27 MPG for the city and 31 MPG for the highway. The Highlander Hybrid is not well suited to off road driving, but does do well on the highway. It seats five comfortably and can be expanded to seat seven.
