Ahoy! It’s a Dirty Rotten Pirates Fundraiser
The Found is proud to present a fundraising performance of “Dirty, Rotten Pirates” as a fundraiser for the Algalita Marine Research Foundation (AMRF), a Long Beach-based non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the marine environment through research, education and restoration. If you’re aware of the plastic mess in the middle of the Pacific Ocean (the Pacific Garbage Patch), it’s because of the work of Captain Charles Moore and AMRF. Join us for a performance of the Found’s hilarious new show, “Dirty, Rotten Pirates,” followed by Captain Moore speaking about his next voyage to monitor the levels of plastic in the ocean. Refreshments will be provided.
The Dirty, Rotten Pirates performance is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 8:00 p.m. Tickets cost $20 (100% of proceeds to AMRF).
This production sponsored in part by the Arts Council for Long Beach, the City of Long Beach, and CapitalSource Bank.
